Assault

At 5:55pm on Thursday, Police attended KEMH after a reported assault. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, a 34 year old Pembroke man, who stated that around 4:15pm he was on Rambling Lane in Pembroke standing next to his girlfriend's car. At the time, a man was acting in an erratic manner near the vehicle.

Arrest

At 1:30 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a business on Burnaby Street in the City of Hamilton. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that she saw a man walk out of the front entrance of the premises a few moments earlier. Police conducted a search of the area and located the suspect, a 48 year old man of no fixed abode, on Reid Street.

Impaired Driving

Around 10:25pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on St. John's Road in Pembroke, near the junction with Moores Lane.

Breaking & Entering

Mon, 2006-01-30

At 5 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Tuckers Town Road, St. George's residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that around 4:30am they were awoken by noises from inside the lower level of the house.

Injury RTC

Sun, 2006-01-29

At 8am on Sunday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Harrington Sound Road in Smith's parish near the junction with Lolly's Well Road. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling west on Harrington Sound Road when the rider, a 20 year old St. George's man, attempted to negotiate a left hand bend and reportedly struck a rock in the road.

Opening of New Bus Terminal

The new bus terminal will officially open for operation on Thursday. In the meantime, bus operators are making test runs through the terminal from Victoria Street to Church Street in the City of Hamilton. Washington Street is not a through way and should only be used by motorists doing business on the street. It should not be used as a shortcut from Victoria Street to Church Street.

Breaking & Entering

At 8:55pm on Friday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Laurel Lane, Sandy's parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7:15am and 7:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole a black IBM laptop computer and several items of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
