Impaired Driving

Around 10:25pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on St. John's Road in Pembroke, near the junction with Moores Lane. Details about the collision are unclear at the moment; however the driver of the car, a 30 year old Devonshire man, was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving, taken to Hamilton Police Station and detained after failing the alco-analyser test. Officers found the Devonshire man on St. John's Road with the car, which had overturned.

Breaking & Entering

At 8:55am on Tuesday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Gorham Road, Pembroke business. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 5:30pm on Monday and 8:35am on Tuesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the premises. The culprit stole $34 worth of coins. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
