Arrest

At 1:30 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a business on Burnaby Street in the City of Hamilton. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that she saw a man walk out of the front entrance of the premises a few moments earlier. Police conducted a search of the area and located the suspect, a 48 year old man of no fixed abode, on Reid Street. He was subsequently arrested, taken to Hamilton Police Station and detained. At this time, it is unknown if anything was removed from the building. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Breaking & Entering

At 7:55am on Wednesday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Rec-View Hill, Devonshire residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7:45am and 5pm on Tuesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole $100 in cash, a black & silver Motorola cellular phone (flip open type) and a Nokia cellular phone charger. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
