Around 6:15pm on Sunday, February 24th police and first responders attended a reported serious single vehicle motorcycle collision on North Shore Road in Devonshire near the junction with Barkers Hill. The rider, believed to be a 30 year old woman, sustained serious head injuries and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 295-0011.

Reported Single Vehicle Collision in Paget - Around 9am on Thursday, February 21st police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle collision on Middle Road in Paget.
It appears that a car was being driven along Middle Road when the driver, a 57 year old Pembroke woman, experienced complications due to a pre-existing medical condition. The vehicle then collided with a wall and overturned.
Witness Appeal: Attempted Robbery at Wok Express - Inquiries are ongoing into the attempted robbery of the Wok Express on Middle Road in Southampton around 5:30pm Wednesday, February 20th.
Following the incident, the offender made good his escape on foot through the rear of the property heading toward Riviera Road.
Detectives are interested in speaking with potential witnesses, in particular members of the public who may have been in the Riviera Road, Southampton area around 5:30pm Wednesday and saw anything suspicious.
A few minutes after 5:30pm today, a male suspect went to the front counter of the Wok Express on Middle Road in Southampton, brandished what is believed to be a firearm and made demands of money. There was a verbal exchange, however the man left the area without anything being taken or anyone hurt.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area or anyone who may have any knowledge of this incident to contact the Western Criminal Investigation Unit on 234-1010.
Counterfeit $10 & $50 Bills Circulating - The Bermuda Police Service is conducting inquiries into reported incidents of counterfeit Bermuda as well as U.S. $10 and $50 bills being tendered at local businesses recently. These counterfeit notes are of poor quality.
Liquor licensed premises and other businesses involved in the nighttime economy are encouraged to be especially vigilant for any individual(s) attempting to pass counterfeit currency.
Inquiries Ongoing: Reported Serious Two Vehicle Collision - At last check, a 25 year old Devonshire man seriously injured in a two vehicle motorcycle and car collision around 9pm Sunday, February 17th on Crow Lane in Pembroke near the junction with Lane Hill remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. In addition the second victim, also a 25 year old Devonshire man, was still recovering on a general ward.

Reported Serious Two Vehicle Collision - Around 9pm on Sunday, February 17th police and first responders attended a reported serious collision on Crow Lane in Pembroke near the junction with Lane Hill. It appears that a car was being driven along Crow Lane and a motorcycle was being ridden along the same road when the vehicles collided.
The rider and pillion passenger of the motorcycle, two 25 year old Devonshire men, were injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.
Arrests on Suspicion of Impaired Driving - Around 11:45am on Saturday, February 16th police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle collision on South Road in Paget near the junction with Happy Talk Lane. It appears that a van was being driven along South Road when the vehicle collided with a wall and overturned.
The driver, a 49 year old Paget man, received minor arm injuries and was treated at the scene by EMTs. He was later arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. Traffic was temporarily diverted away from the scene due to the location of the damaged van.
