Inquiries Ongoing: Reported Serious Two Vehicle Collision - At last check, a 25 year old Devonshire man seriously injured in a two vehicle motorcycle and car collision around 9pm Sunday, February 17th on Crow Lane in Pembroke near the junction with Lane Hill remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. In addition the second victim, also a 25 year old Devonshire man, was still recovering on a general ward.
Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Michelle Berkeley on 295-0011.

Members of the public should remain vigilant regarding counterfeit Bermuda and U.S. currency, while retailers are reminded to ensure their employees are aware of the importance of taking a few seconds to examine the money they are taking in, especially the larger denominations.
If counterfeit cash is detected during a transaction, staff receiving the fake money should hold on to it, note the description of the individual who tendered it and contact police immediately.
Similarly, members of the public who may have unknowingly received counterfeit currency are encouraged to report it at the earliest opportunity.
It is a criminal offence to pass to another, possess, make or reproduce any counterfeit currency; punishable by up to five years in prison.
