Around 11:50pm on Monday, July 30th police and first responders attended a reported serious single vehicle collision on Pender Road in Sandys parish. It appears that a motorcyclist was traveling along Pender Road and collided with a wall. As a result the rider, believed to be a 29 year old Hamilton parish man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. The extent of his injuries, while potentially serious, is unknown at this time. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing.

Officers from the Bermuda Police Service, Bermuda Reserve Police and Bermuda Regiment will be on duty inside and outside the Somerset Cricket Club grounds throughout the two days of play, directing traffic and conducting high visibility patrols.
Reported Serious Collision in Pembroke - Around 7:15pm on Sunday, July 29th police and first responders attended a reported serious collision on St. John’s Road in Pembroke near the junction with Langton Hill involving a car and a pedal cycle. It appears that both vehicles were traveling along St. John’s Road when they collided. As a result the pedal cyclist, a 7 year old Pembroke boy, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. As last check the victim was in the Intensive Care Unit in stable condition. There were no other injuries reported.
On Friday 27th July 2012, officers from the Public Protection Department of the Bermuda Police Service conducted a search warrant at a Sommersall Road, Smith’s parish address. At the residence, officers seized a significant quantity of suspected controlled drugs, which appeared to be under cultivation.
A 38 year old male from Smith’s parish has been arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis.
Alleged Assault - Around 10:55pm on Thursday, July 26th police attended a report of an alleged assault in the Horseshoe Road, Horseshoe Lane Southampton area, where a 46 year old Southampton man was found lying on the ground injured.
At last check the victim was being treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for his injuries, which are not considered life threatening.

Two Men Arrested, Firearm Seized After Reported Armed Burglary - Around 1am on Tuesday, July 24th police responded to a report of an armed burglary that took place at a Pembroke residence. Reports indicate that a man armed with a bladed article and what was reported as a firearm broke into the dwelling and assaulted one of the occupants, who was subsequently taken to the hospital with a laceration to the shoulder. The victim was treated and later released.
As a result of this incident two Pembroke men were arrested very soon after near the scene and a firearm was seized.
Reported Serious Collision in Devonshire - Around 7:55pm on Monday, July 23rd police and first responders attended a reported serious single vehicle collision on North Shore Road in Devonshire in the vicinity of Barkers Hill. It appears that a motorcyclist was traveling along North Shore Road when the collision occurred. The rider, a 19 year old Devonshire man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check, the victim was in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit.

It appears that a motorcyclist was traveling along Harbour Road when the collision occurred. As a result the rider, a 26 year old Sandys parish man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check, the victim was in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
