Reported Serious Collision in Devonshire - Around 7:55pm on Monday, July 23rd police and first responders attended a reported serious single vehicle collision on North Shore Road in Devonshire in the vicinity of Barkers Hill. It appears that a motorcyclist was traveling along North Shore Road when the collision occurred. The rider, a 19 year old Devonshire man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check, the victim was in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit. Traffic was diverted away from the scene while collision investigators conducted their inquiries; however that section of road was later re-opened. The investigation into this collision is ongoing and any witnesses or anyone with any information is encouraged to contact PC Odessa Philip on 295-0011.
Update: Reported Serious Collision in Warwick
The 26 year old male motorcyclist from Sandys parish injured in a reported serious single vehicle collision that occurred along Harbour Road in Warwick near the junction with Morgan Road around 6:40pm on Sunday, July 22nd remains in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses or anyone with any information should contact PC Michael Charlton on 295-0011.
