Around 8:20pm on Monday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Clarkes Hill, St. Georges residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 11am and 6:50pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied.
Around 5 this morning Police executed a search warrant in the Curving Avenue, Pembroke area and as a result a diversionary device was employed that may have created a very large bang in the area. The Bermuda Police Service would like to apologize for the noise and assure the public that it was nothing untoward.

On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 6pm on Saturday and 3am on Sunday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the store. The culprit stole a quantity of phone cards. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Theft
Around 11pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported robbery on Mangrove Bay Road in Sandys parish. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, a 37 year old Sandys parish man, who stated that he withdrew a quantity of cash from an area ATM machine and proceeded to walk to a nearby bus stop. At the bus stop he was confronted by an unknown man who demanded money.
Around 4:55pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Middle Road and Tee Street in Devonshire involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the car was traveling north on Tee Street and the motorcycle was traveling west on Middle Road when the vehicles collided.
Around 10am today, Police received a report of a handbag snatch on Parsons Road in Pembroke. The victim, a 51 year old Pembroke woman, stated that around 9:45am she was walking across a pedestrian crossing when an unknown man on a motorcycle rode past and snatched her handbag. The suspect then made good his escape. The brown Louis Vuitton handbag contained a quantity of cash and personal items. The Pembroke woman was not injured. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact PC Michael Harkin on 295-0011.

On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8am and 1:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole an Apple I-Pod and a Sony video camera. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
