Around 12:20am today, Police received a report of a burglary at a Ducks Puddle Drive, Hamilton parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 9:30am and 9:30pm on Thursday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her apartment while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole an I-Pod, an I-Pod docking station, an alarm clock, an X-Box 360 video game system and a Compaq laptop computer.

Around 8pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Middle Terrace, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7am and 7:10pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a grey 19” plasma TV and a white I-Pod Nano. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

On Saturday the 5th January 2008, the U.S. Coast Guard intercepted an American registered private vessel in the waters off the Bahamas. Onboard they found approximately two thousand pounds of cannabis. Law enforcement agencies are satisfied the shipment was destined for Bermuda. |

The complainant stated that sometime between 10am and 8pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. At 1:30pm on Monday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Somerset Road and Hook & Ladder Lane in Sandys parish involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling west on Somerset Road and the car was traveling along Hook & Ladder Lane when the vehicles collided at the junction.

The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 3:10am on Saturday, Police received a report of a serious road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Warwick, near the junction with Keith Hall Road. Details remain unclear; however, it appears that a motorcycle was traveling east on Middle Road when the collision occurred. The rider of the motorcycle, a 21 year old Warwick man, sustained serious head injuries.

The complainant stated that sometime between 8:30am and 6:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her apartment while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Robbery

Around 11pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a robbery at the junction of Middle Road and Princess Drive in Southampton (Fairmont Southampton hotel property). The victims, a couple who work at the Fairmont Southampton, stated that they were waiting for the hotel shuttle bus when they were approached by four unknown men who had been loitering in the area.
