The Bermuda Police Service would like to make the motoring public aware of the following traffic diversions within the City of Hamilton this weekend due to trenching work/construction taking place in the following locations:
At 6pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at an Orange Valley Road, Devonshire residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8am and 5:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 41 year old John DCosta, a Bangladeshi national. Mr. DCosta was found in a non-responsive state at Clear View Suites & Villas in Hamilton parish around 8:30am Friday. He was rushed to KEMH via ambulance but was pronounced dead at 8:55am Friday by an on call physician at KEMH.
At 9:55am on Friday, Police received a report of a sudden death. The victim, a 41 year old man from Bangladesh, was found in a non-responsive state at Clear View Suites & Villas in Hamilton parish earlier that morning. He was rushed to KEMH via ambulance but subsequently died. At this time there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
Around 6:20pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Harrington Sound Road in Hamilton parish involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling east on Harrington Sound Road and the car was traveling in the opposite direction when the collision occurred.

Foul play has been ruled out in the death of 87 year old Grace Cross of Sandys parish. The investigation into the cause of the fire at her Scotts Hill Road, Sandys parish residence on Tuesday is ongoing.

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 87 year old Grace Cross of Sandys parish. She was pronounced dead by an on call physician at the hospital at 11:51am on Tuesday. An investigation into the cause of the fire at Ms. Crosss Scotts Hill Road, Sandys parish home yesterday is ongoing. Foul play has not been ruled out.
