Police responded to a report of a burglary that took place on Two Way Lane in Pembroke. The complainant states that around 8:30am yesterday, he left his residence only to return at 4:30pm to notice that someone had gained entry into his dwelling. The culprit made an untidy search and stole a 17" flat screen I-Mac computer, a portable DVD player, a portable Sony CD player and a Sharp 19" TV. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 8:10 this morning, Police attended a report of suspicious circumstances on Parsons Road in Pembroke. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants, checked the vehicle and collected evidence to be forensically tested for fingerprints. An investigation into this incident is underway.

Around 11:30pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Mullet Bay Road in St. Georges near the junction with Stokes Point Road, involving a truck and an auxiliary cycle. It appears that the truck was traveling east on Mullet Bay Road and the cycle was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided.
At 2:15 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Devonshire, between Tee Street and Spur Lane. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling east on Middle Road when the rider, a 33 year old Smiths parish man lost control attempting to negotiate a left hand bend, crossed over into the westbound lane and collided with a wall.
At 7:15am on Thursday, Police received a report of an unresponsive male at the Salvation Army Shelter on Marsh Lane in Pembroke. The victim, a 58 year old Devonshire man, was rushed to KEMH via ambulance but subsequently died. There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances. No further information will be released until the next of kin has been notified.
