Around 2:15 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Somerset Road in Sandys parish, near the junction with Lantana Road. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling east on Somerset Road when the rider, a 32 year old Smiths parish man, lost control and fell to the ground.

Around 9:45am on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Railway Trail, Southampton residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8:20am and 7:40pm on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

The Bermuda Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15 year old Eric Thomas of Devonshire. Eric was last seen at his Watlington Lane, Devonshire residence between 5:30pm and 6pm on Saturday, April 26th 2008.

The Bermuda Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15 year old Eric Thomas of Devonshire. Eric was last seen at his Watlington Lane, Devonshire residence between 5:30pm and 6pm on Saturday, April 26th 2008. He is described as light skinned, approximately 5’7” tall with brown eyes and a light moustache.

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 34 year old Larry Thomas of Southampton. Mr. Thomas succumbed to injuries sustained in a road traffic collision that occurred around 3:10am Saturday on Somerset Road in Sandys parish, near the junction with Tankard Lane. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.

Around 3:10 this morning, Police attended a serious road traffic collision on Somerset Road in Sandys parish, near the junction with Tankard Lane involving a van and a motorcycle. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling east on Somerset Road and the van was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided.
Burglary

Around 3:40pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Kings Lane North, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7pm on Monday and 8am on Tuesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole electronic equipment. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
