Burglary

Around 6:55 this morning, Police received a report of a burglary at a Bostock Hill East, Paget residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 11pm on Tuesday and 5am today, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole two Dell laptop computers and a 'Targus' laptop computer bag. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 9:40am on Monday, Police attended a reported burglary at the Salvation Army Hamilton Citadel on North Street in Pembroke. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime over the weekend an unknown culprit gained entry into the building. The culprit stole approximately $500 in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

ATM E-mail Hoax

The Bermuda Police Service has received queries about an e-mail currently in circulation that pertains to the safety features of ATM machines and PIN numbers. After confirming with local and overseas financial institutions we are confident that the information contained in the e-mail is simply untrue. For further information, please contact your relevant financial institution.
