At 12:30 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Lovers Lane, Paget residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8:45am and 4:45pm on Thursday, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole several items of jewelry and an unknown amount of coins. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
At 1:30 this morning, Police received a report of a handbag snatch on Middle Road in Sandy’s parish. The victim, a 29 year old Smith’s parish woman, stated that at 12:45am she was riding her rental cycle east on Middle Road near White Hill field. She noticed there was another motorcycle behind her, and felt her rental cycle wobble as the motorcycle behind overtook.
Around 8:10 this morning, Police attended a report of a removed vehicle from Marsh Folly Road in Pembroke, near St. Monica’s Road. On arrival officers spoke with the owner of the car who stated that sometime between 5:30pm on Tuesday and 7:50am today, an unknown culprit removed her blue Daihatsu Cuore which was parked on Marsh Folly Road. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
At 5:40 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at St. Theresa’s Cathedral on Elliot Street in Pembroke. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 10pm on Monday and 5:15am today, an unknown culprit gained entry into the rectory. The culprit stole $315 in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
At 8:25pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Sound View Road, Sandy’s parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7pm and 8:10pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole a brown handbag containing $200 in cash, personal items and a cellular phone.

On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 10:55am and 11:30am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole a Dell laptop computer, several items of jewelry and $130 in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 26 year old Brian Hughes. Mr. Hughes, an Irish national, succumbed to his injuries following a serious single vehicle road traffic collision at 6:25am Friday, March 25, 2005 on Crow Lane in Paget near the North Round-a-bout.
