Serious Assault: Update - Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses or anyone with any information with regard to the serious assault that occurred on Friday April 6th in the area of Southampton Rangers Sports Club. It appears that around 6:15pm, police responded to a report of a serious assault. As a result of a disturbance, one man was wounded and conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance. Around 2:45am on Friday April 6th, police responded to reports of gunshots in the area of Somerset Cricket Club in Sandys. Officers arrived on scene and conducted an investigation immediately.
One man was injured and conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Around 4.35pm Thursday, April 5th police received a telephone call from Bermuda Radio concerning a missing diver in the waters off of Grotto Bay Hotel. As a result, police divers and a Bermuda Police Service marine vessel attended the area to search for the missing man. He was located in the waters a short time later in an unresponsive state and was immediately given first aid while awaiting the arrival of an ambulance. He was conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 6.35pm. Police are not treating this incident as suspicious. No further information will be released until the next of kin has been notified.
Superintendent Antoine Daniels - Police are continuing their investigations into the aggravated burglary, which occurred around 8:30pm on Monday 2nd April, 2012, at a private residence located on Middle Road in Devonshire Parish. Three men and one woman have been arrested and remain in police custody. The scene of the incident has been forensically examined and samples seized for forensic analysis.
Missing Juvenile: India Burchall [Located] - The Bermuda Police Service is continuing to appeal for the public’s assistance in locating 14
year old India Burchall. The teenager is described as brown skinned; approximately 5’6” tall of slim build. She was reported missing on Friday, March 30th and apparently has been seen in Southampton and Warwick. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 14 year old India Burchall is encouraged to contact the Vulnerable Persons Unit on 295-0011. The public is reminded that harbouring a juvenile is an offence punishable under the law.
Confirmed Gunshot Report - Around 8:30pm on Tuesday April 3rd, police responded to reported gunshots in the Union Street, Pembroke area. Although forensic evidence collected confirmed a firearm had been discharged, there were no reported injuries. The 41st CARIFTA Games will be hosted in Bermuda at the National Sports Centre between Friday 6th and Monday 9th April 2012. The following parking restrictions will be in place as of 11am on Friday April 6th until the conclusion of the CARIFTA Games at 10pm on Monday April 9th.

Around 8:30pm on Monday, April 2nd, 2012, police responded to a report of aggravated burglary at a residence in Devonshire near the junction of Middle Road and Hermitage Road. It appears that four suspects were involved; one female and three males, all wearing dark colored clothing with hoodies and scarfs covering their faces. One of the men is alleged to have brandished a machete while another had what appeared to be a firearm. The suspects forced their way into the residence and demanded money and jewelry from the occupants.
Appeal for Witnesses: Assault - The Bermuda Police Service is investigating a report of an assault that occurred in Devonshire on Monday April 2nd, 2012 around 2:20pm. It appears that a 19 year old Pembroke man was injured as a result of a reported assault in the area. The victim was transferred to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance where he was treated for his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.
Assistance is being sought from the public regarding any information relating to the suspects in this case, who are described as two males wearing dark-coloured clothing, travelling on a dark coloured motorcycle.
