Police responded to a report of a serious single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury that took place at the junction of Elliot Street and Princess Street in Pembroke around 3:20 Sunday morning. Details at this point are sketchy however, it appears that a 22 year old Pembroke man was traveling on a cycle on that said road when he lost control of his bike resulting in the rider being found on the ground unconscious. He was taken to KEMH where he is presently in the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition.
Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering that took place yesterday at Elliot Primary School in Devonshire.
At 11:45pm yesterday Police arrested a 27 year old Pembroke woman on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.The 27 year old woman was seen riding a motorcycle without her lights engaged and her helmet was unfastened.As a result Police pulled her over and it was at that time officers smelled intoxicants on her breath, her eyes were glazed over and she was unsteady on her feet.She was arrested
Police are appealing for any witnesses to an incident where a man purportedly was wielding a knife at the Ferry Terminal on Monday December 3rd at around 5pm, which resulted in the man being arrested and being put before the Courts.There were a number of individuals who were in the area at the time and we are asking for witnesses to this incident to please contact Hamilton Police Station on 295-0011.

At 3:55am on Saturday Police attended a report of an assault that took place outside of Splash Night Club on Bermudiana Road in Pembroke.
Around 12:45am today, Police attended a report of a vehicle fire at the junction of Palmetto Road and Marsh Folly Road in Pembroke. On arrival officers observed the vehicle, a silver Daihatsu Terios jeep, ablaze. The fire was extinguished shortly afterwards. The Bermuda Fire Service also attended the scene. No one was injured.
Around 12:20 this morning, Police received a report of a burglary at a Rocklands View, Warwick residence. The complainant stated that around 11:50pm on Wednesday, she was awoken by noises inside her home. She then discovered that an unknown culprit had gained entry and stolen a quantity of cash, a blue Nokia cellular phone and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
