At 12 noon on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Cottage Hill Lane, Hamilton parish residence. It appears that an unknown man brandishing a weapon attended the home, forced his way inside and accosted the two female occupants, a 35 year old Hamilton parish woman and her friend. The suspect then made good his escape. The victims were not injured. A 42 year old man has been arrested in connection with this incident and inquiries are ongoing. Robbery - At 10:45pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported robbery on Park Road in Pembroke. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, a Pembroke man, who stated that around 10:30pm that day he was walking west on Park Road when he was approached by five young men.

One of the suspects demanded money from the victim and punched him in the face before removing a black I-Pod as well as a green over the shoulder bag containing a black Motorola cellular phone, an ‘Easy Link’ internet receiver and personal items. The assailant and his accomplices then made good their escape. The main suspect was described as medium brown skinned, 6’ tall with no facial hair wearing a red jacket with a grey hood and dark coloured long pants.
The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the members of the public who have come forward thus far and provided information to assist in locating missing French national Medhi David Yahi.The missing person report and subsequent search for Mr. Yahi was initiated after a member of the public found some of his personal effects on the beach at Chaplin Bay in Warwick around 9:10am on Monday.

It appears that the victim, a 36 year old Sandy’s parish man, was walking in the area around midnight when he was approached by two unknown men. The suspects set upon the Sandy’s parish man and removed a quantity of cash as well as a gold coloured chain before making good their escape on a motorcycle. The victim sustained a bruise above his left eye and bruising to his right elbow and forearm. The suspects are described as a tall, heavy set yellow skinned man and a small, dark skinned man; both men were wearing dark coloured jackets. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
