Burglary - Around 6:20pm on Monday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Pine Tree Lane, Sandy’s parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 11:30am and 5:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a 40” black & silver Samsung flat screen TV. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

* Number of vehicles reported stolen by parish: St. George’s = 2, Devonshire = 2, Pembroke = 6, Paget = 2, Warwick = 2, Southampton = 1 and Sandy ’s parish = 3.
Around 2:50am on Monday, Police were on patrol in the Marsh Folly Road, Pembroke area when they were involved in a short pursuit of a motorcyclist in connection with a traffic offence. The rider lost control of the cycle near Rambling Lane but was not injured. The Police officers pursued the rider on foot and arrested him after a brief chase. The rider, a 30 year old Devonshire man, was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing by the Serious & Organised Crime Unit.
Injury RTC - At 10:30am on Sunday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Middle Road and Tee Street in Devonshire involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the car was traveling north on Tee Street and the motorcycle was traveling east on Middle Road when the vehicles collided at the junction. The rider of the motorcycle, a 31 year old Hamilton parish woman, sustained a fractured left arm.
At 10:30am on Sunday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Middle Road and Tee Street in Devonshire involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the car was traveling north on Tee Street and the motorcycle was traveling east on Middle Road when the vehicles collided at the junction. The rider of the motorcycle, a 31 year old Hamilton parish woman, sustained a fractured left arm. The driver of the car, a 66 year old Warwick man, was not injured. The car received front end damage while the motorcycle received damage to multiple areas. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Assault - Around 10:45pm on Friday, Police received a report of an assault. It appears that the victim, a 22 year old Hamilton parish man, was assaulted by a group of men brandishing various objects on North Church Lane in Hamilton parish. The victim sustained lacerations and abrasions to his head and body. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment; however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening. At last check he was in stable condition on a general ward. Three St. George’s men, aged 20, 21 & 22 were later arrested in connection with this matter. Inquiries into the incident are ongoing.

Injury RTC - Around 6:55pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Smith’s parish near the junction with Aldie Drive involving a rental cycle and a truck. It appears that the rental cycle was traveling east on Middle Road and the truck was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided. The rider of the cycle, a 29 year old Smith’s parish woman, sustained head as well as internal injuries and was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. She is currently in the Intensive Care Unit. The driver of the truck, a 42 year old Warwick man, was not injured.
