Mr. Bell has over 30 years policing experience in a range of policing environments. He started his career in 1975 in the Royal Ulster Constabulary Reserve before joining the regular force the following year. He served in small rural communities and large conurbations in a variety of ranks and posts until 1999.

Burglary

Around 12:20pm on Monday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Berry Hill Close, Paget residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8am and 11:45am that day while he was away from the home, an unknown culprit gained entry. The culprit stole an Apple I-Pod and a portable CD player. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 4:30pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported serious single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Harrington Sound Road in Smith's parish, near the junction with Paynters Road. It appears that a green Peugeot convertible was traveling east on Harrington Sound Road when the driver, a 25 year old St.

At 3 this morning, two men were walking along Reid Street in the City of Hamilton when one of the men left for a few seconds and went into Joell’s Alley. When the other man noticed that his friend was in the alley longer than expected he went to ascertain what was taking place. Upon his arrival he saw his friend on the ground surrounded by a group of black men. He intervened and was subsequently assaulted by the group of males as well.

Robbery

At 1:20pm yesterday afternoon, a 70 year old man was robbed while at the junction of Curving Avenue and King Street in Pembroke by 3 unknown men. He had 7 rings, 2 gold chains and a cellular phone stolen from him. He received bruising to his legs, arms and chest. The 70 year old man was then conveyed to KEMH for treatment and released. The suspects are described as black males wearing white shirts and khaki pants.
