Handbag Snatch

At 11pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported handbag snatch at a Paget guest property. On arrival officers spoke with the victims, who are visitors to the island. The couple stated that as they walked back to their room from a restaurant on the premises, an unknown man grabbed the female victim's purse and made good his escape on foot.

Missing Person

The Bermuda Police Service is reporting a missing woman who was last seen on Thursday evening outside of the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club. Elizabeth Carter Baldwin is described as a 61 year old white female, 5'3" to 5'5" tall, weighing 120 pounds with blond shoulder length hair and a heavy sunburn.

Theft

At 3pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported theft from Tobacco Bay beach in St. George's. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who are visitors to the island. They stated that sometime between 1:30pm and 2:50pm that day, an unknown culprit stole a silver chain and pendant, a gold chain and pendant, $18 in cash and personal items from their bag. Injury RTC

Around 11:40pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Smith's parish near the junction with Store Hill.

Sudden Death

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 76 year old Alfred Ash. Mr. Ash, an American citizen, was pulled from a pool at the Elbow Beach hotel in an unresponsive state around 3:30pm on Tuesday. Paramedics performed CPR on the 76 year old at the scene before transporting him to KEMH, where he was pronounced dead by an on call physician at 3:55pm.

Missing Juvenile

The Bermuda Police Service is asking for the public's assistance in locating 16 year old Crystal Vigneri-Torak of St. George's. She was last seen at 8:10am on Tuesday in her school uniform (khaki skirt with a light blue polo shirt and white sneakers); however, she never arrived at school.

Attempted Handbag Snatch

At 6:45pm on Monday, Police attended a reported attempted handbag snatch on Harrington Sound Road in Smith's parish. On arrival officers spoke with the victims, who are visitors to the island. The couple stated that around 5pm they were riding their rental cycle on South Road near John Smith's Bay when they stopped in a bus lay by to take pictures.
