Teen in ICU Following Two Vehicle Collision Saturday in St. George’s

Around 1:20pm Saturday, 18th January 2025, a reported two vehicle collision occurred on Tommy Fox Road in St. George’s, near the junction with Pepper Hall Road, involving a pedal cycle and a motorcycle.

Police, Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service, as well as ambulance personnel, responded.

Apparently on the arrival of emergency services, two individuals were found on the ground – the pedal cyclist, understood to be a 24-year-old Warwick man, as well as a local 15-year-old male, believed to be on the motorcycle at the time of the collision.

It remains unclear whether the teen was the motorcycle rider, or a passenger.

Both injured individuals were transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.

At last check, the pedal cyclist had been treated and discharged from the hospital, while the 15-year-old male had been admitted into the Intensive Care Unit.

The scene was processed following the collision and an investigation regarding the circumstances continues.

Any witnesses are asked to call Constable Derek Simmons on 717-2067, or e-mail dsimmons2@bps.bm.

Alternatively, members of the public with relevant information are encouraged to share it with a police officer they know, or provide it through the Bermuda Police Service online community reporting portal, https://portal.police.bm/.
