Although not a common occurrence, a number of recent incidents of burglary have led to a few face to face confrontations between the home owner and the culprit. The Bermuda Police Service advises members of the public who may find themselves in this situation to try and follow these simple guidelines for the safety of you and your family. |
Robbery

Around 11:40 this morning, Police received a report of a robbery at Fort St. Catherine in St. George’s. It appears that the victims, a couple visiting the island believed to be in their 60s, were accosted by two unknown men brandishing bladed articles. The suspects took a camera, a wallet containing a quantity of cash and a gold chain before making good their escape on a motorcycle. The visiting couple was not injured.
