Witness Appeal

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the assault of a 31 year old Hamilton parish man on Front Street in the City of Hamilton by a group of men around 6pm Wednesday, July 5, 2006 following the World Cup Semi-Final game France vs. Portugal. Initial inquiries revealed that there were several witnesses to the assault, and we are encouraging these individuals to come forward and assist Police with their investigation. Two 21 year old Hamilton parish men were recently arrested in connection with the attack on the Hamilton parish man and subsequently bailed.
