Witness Appeal

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision that occurred around 10:45pm Friday, at the junction of Dundonald Street and Cedar Avenue in Pembroke involving an auxiliary cycle and a Police vehicle that claimed the life of 21 year old Michael Scott Kozma. The investigation into the death of Mr. Kozma is moving very well. We have trained traffic collision investigators working on the case. Police have received information by three independent witnesses and we anticipate the full circumstances of the collision will be made public in the near future. Police are appealing for any witnesses, more specifically anyone who saw a blue Police Landcruiser traveling south on Cedar Avenue or a silver auxiliary cycle traveling east on Dundonald Street around 10:45pm Friday to please contact Detective Inspector Tracy Adams on 295-0011. The Bermuda Police Service extends its sincere condolences to the family & friends of the deceased.

Police are also continuing to appeal for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision that occurred around 10:55pm Friday, on Middle Road in Devonshire near Garthowen Road involving a jeep and an auxiliary cycle. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact PC Anthony Bartley on 295-0011.

Breaking & Entering

Around 7:30pm on Friday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Quarry Road, Hamilton parish residence. On arrival, officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 9am and 6pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole a Sony PlayStation 2 game system and several items of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
