Around 12:20 this morning, Police attended a report of a car on fire at a Hartle Drive, Sandy’s parish residence. The Bermuda Fire Service also attended. On the arrival of Police officers and firefighters at the scene, the fire had already been extinguished. The complainants stated that they were alerted to the fire by a neighbour around 12:15am. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
Breaking & Entering
At 8:15am on Monday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at Changes Beauty Salon on Victoria Street in Pembroke. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 12 noon on Sunday and 7:30am on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the salon. The culprit stole several bottles of hair & beauty products, as well as two barber’s scissors and a small safe. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
