Injury RTC

Around 3:45 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Southside Road and Lower Gates Road in St. George’s. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling east on Southside Road when the rider lost control and collided with a wall. The rider, a 26 year old Hamilton parish man, was taken to KEMH for treatment of facial injuries. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Theft
At 12 noon on Saturday, Police received a report of a theft from Somerset Long Bay beach in Sandy’s parish. The complainant, who is a visitor to the island, stated that he left his belongings on the beach around 11am that day while he went for a swim. However, when he returned his blue & white ‘Pistons’ sports bag containing clothing and personal items was gone. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
