Injury RTC

At 8:45 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Crow Lane and Lane Hill in Pembroke. It appears that a heavy truck was traveling west along Crow Lane when the driver attempted to make a u-turn on to Lane Hill. As a result the truck fell over, landing on its left side. The driver, a 28 year old St. George’s man, was temporarily trapped inside the vehicle; however, shortly after Police and Bermuda Fire Service personnel arrived on the scene he was extracted. The St. George’s man was taken to KEMH via ambulance, treated for minor injuries (abrasions) and released.

Breaking & Entering

At 7:50am on Sunday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a White Sands Road, Paget residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between midnight and 7am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole a brand new portable Sony flat screen TV with speakers (still in the box) and $5 in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
