Indecent Exposure

At 10:10pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of indecent exposure at Par-La-Ville car park in the City of Hamilton. The complainant, a 35 year old Warwick woman, stated that around 10pm she went to the parking lot where her motorcycle was parked when she noticed a man standing nearby, clothed only from the waist up, committing an indecent act. She screamed and the man fled the area on foot. The Warwick woman immediately got on her motorcycle and rode to the Hamilton Police Station, where she reported the incident. Police searched the area but the man was not located. The suspect is described as a black male, 6' tall of slim build, wearing only a dark coloured jacket with either a hood or a hat. He is believed to be in his late 40s. Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information about this incident to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011. This is the third such incident in a week in the area of Par-La-Ville and Church Street in the City of Hamilton. We are asking the public to be especially vigilant in this area and to report any suspicious activity or individuals to Police.

Breaking & Entering

At 8:20am on Tuesday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at Avon Products on Church Street in the City of Hamilton. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 10:30pm on Monday and 8:10am on Tuesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the premises. The culprit stole approximately $60 worth of coins and several items of jewelry (5 watches and 2 necklace/earring sets). Inquiries into this incident are underway.
