Injury RTC

Around 3:50pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury near the junction of Brunswick Street and Dundonald Street in Pembroke involving a car and a pedestrian. It appears that the pedestrian, a 53 year old Pembroke man, was crossing Dundonald Street (without using the pedestrian crossing) when he was struck by a black car traveling west, knocking him to the ground. The car left the scene after the collision. The Pembroke man appeared to sustain minor injuries, but refused to go to KEMH for medical treatment. The car was later located at Fort Hamilton with three occupants. One of the men made good his escape on foot, leaving two 17 year old boys, one from Pembroke. The Pembroke boy was arrested on outstanding warrants. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Breaking & Entering

At 10am on Thursday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Richmond Road, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7pm on Wednesday and 7am on Thursday, an unknown culprit gained entry into his apartment. The culprit stole a black HP laptop computer, a black bag and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Concrete Spill

Around 5:50pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road obstruction on Middle Road in Southampton. It appears that a cement truck spilled concrete into the eastbound lane of Middle Road, from Riviera Road to Spring Benny Road. As a result, traffic was diverted while Works & Engineering personnel cleaned up the spillage.
