Missiles Thrown At Police

Around 5:10pm on Sunday, Police attended a report of individuals riding motocross motorcycles on Parsons Road in Pembroke in the vicinity of the playground. On arrival officers observed three young men riding motocross cycles without helmets. As Police approached the trio they sped off, making good their escape up Rambling Lane. While officers were still in the area, unknown individuals began throwing bricks at their Police vehicle. As a result the front windscreen was damaged. Missiles were also thrown at the attending officers, but they were able to get into the Police vehicle without injury. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 2 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 7 incidents of breaking and entering. There were also 11 damage only road traffic collisions and 4 road traffic collisions resulting in injury.
