At 7:05 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at Rock Island Coffee on Reid Street in the City of Hamilton. On arrival officers spoke with the manager who stated that sometime between 5pm on Saturday and 6:25am today, an unknown culprit gained entry into the premises. The culprit stole $150 in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 3:30 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Glenwood Park Lane, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that around 3am she was awoken by noises in her bedroom. Upon further investigation she discovered an unknown man in her bedroom looking through her purse. She raised an alarm and the culprit ran out of the house. The culprit stole $220 in cash and 300 U. K. pounds in cash. The suspect is described as a dark skinned male, approximately 5'5" tall wearing a white top, black baseball cap and dark coloured pants. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 9:15am on Sunday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Happy Valley Road, Devonshire residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7:15am and 9am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole U.S. $400 in cash, a Nokia cellular phone and charger and several items of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 3 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 10 incidents of breaking and entering. There were also 24 damage only road traffic collisions and 6 road traffic collisions resulting in injury.
