Around 3:40 this morning, Police attended a reported serious single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Paget, near the junction with Bostock Hill East. It appears that the car, a black Peugeot, was traveling east on Middle Road when the driver overtook another car traveling in the same direction and lost control, colliding with the porch of a residence at the junction of Middle Road and Bostock Hill East. The driver, a 23 year old Southampton man, sustained facial and chest injuries, while the front seat passenger, a 19 year old Pembroke woman sustained a head injury and bruising; another 19 year old Pembroke woman (back seat passenger) sustained a fractured pelvis and the second back seat passenger, a 20 year old Pembroke man, sustained a broken neck. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 5:45am on Saturday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Trimingham Road in Paget. It appears that the car, a grey Rover, was traveling north on Trimingham Road when the vehicle made contact with the north round-a-bout causing the driver to lose control, colliding with a wall. As a result the car went trough the wall and ended up in Crow Lane Park. The driver, a 27 year old Paget man sustained facial injuries (bruises & a bloody nose) and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. The car received extensive front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 6:30pm on Friday, Police attended a reported serious road traffic collision resulting in injury on Frog Lane in Devonshire involving a motorcycle and two cars. It appears that a car and a motorcycle were traveling north on Frog Lane with the car in front. When the vehicles reached the junction with Devon Lane, the motorcycle overtook the car in front and collided head on with another car traveling in the opposite direction. The rider of the motorcycle, a 35 year old Hamilton parish man,.sustained head injuries and was rushed to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. He is currently in critical but stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit. The drivers of the cars were not injured; however, the passengers of one vehicle reportedly sustained minor injuries. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
