Robbery

Around 8:30pm on Friday, Police attended a reported robbery at a Glebe Road, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, a 49 year old Pembroke man, who stated that at 7:10pm he arrived home. As he was attempting to open the front door, two unknown men approached him. Both men proceeded to assault the victim, punching him and knocking him to the ground. While on the ground, the suspects removed the 49 year old man's wallet containing approximately $375 in cash and personal items. The suspects then made good their escape on a motorcycle. The suspects are described as two black men approximately 6'2" tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds. The Pembroke man sustained facial injuries (cuts & bruises). Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.

Breaking & Entering

At 6:50pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Hill Crescent, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 12:15pm and 6:15pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole a Toshiba laptop computer. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 11am on Saturday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Keith Hall Road, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between midnight and 12:45am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the house. The culprit stole U.S. $350 and 100 Euros in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
