Breaking & Entering

At 7:20 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a St. John's Road, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 1am and 6:15am today, an unknown culprit gained entry into their apartment. The culprit stole a black & grey Sony digital camera in a grey case, black sunglasses in a black case and a black flashlight, as well as a Land handbag containing U.S. $300 in cash and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Injury RTC

Around 8:05pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Smith's parish near the junction with Jennings Road, involving two cars. It appears that a white Mitsubishi was traveling east on Middle Road and a red Subaru was traveling in the opposite direction at a high rate of speed when it crossed into the eastbound lane and the two vehicles collided. The driver of the white Mitsubishi, a 25 year old St. George's woman, was taken to KEMH for treatment of minor injuries and released. The driver of the red Subaru, a 20 year old Smith's parish man, was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving, taken to Hamilton Police Station and detained after refusing to take the alco-analyser test. Both vehicles were extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 2 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 3 incidents of breaking and entering. There were also 13 damage only road traffic collisions and 7 road traffic collisions resulting in injury.
