Burglary

At 6:15 this morning, Police attended a reported burglary at a Paget guest property. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who are visitors to the island. They stated that around 5:30am they awoke to observe a man walking out of their room. The culprit stole U.S. $650 in cash and is described as a black male, approximately 5'9" tall of medium build wearing a dark coloured hooded top with the hood over his head, dark coloured Bermuda shorts and dark coloured shoes. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Missing Person

The Bermuda Police Service is asking for the public's help in locating 55 year old Gladwin Gilbert of Devonshire. He was last seen at 11:30am on Saturday in Devonshire wearing a tan shirt and white pants. Mr. Gilbert is described as light brown skinned, 5'8" tall weighing approximately 165 pounds with close cut hair. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 55 year old Gladwin Gilbert is asked to contact the Juvenile & Domestic Crime Unit on 299-4477 or the main Police number, 295-0011.

Missing Juvenile

The Bermuda Police Service is asking for the public's help in locating 14 year old Marcus Fox of Pembroke. He was reported missing at 1:20am on Saturday and is known to frequent the Cedar Hill, Warwick area. Marcus Fox is described as light brown skinned; approximately 5'6" tall with close cut hair and shaved eyebrows. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 14 year old Marcus Fox is asked to contact the Juvenile & Domestic Crime Unit on 299-4477 or the main Police number, 295-0011.

Weekend Activity

Over the Easter weekend there were 11 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 13 burglaries (8 from commercial premises). There were also 18 damage only road traffic collisions, 10 road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 12 loud music complaints.
