Inquiries Ongoing Into Reported Willful Damage - Around 7pm on Tuesday, November 13th police officers responded to a report of willful damage involving vehicles at City Hall parking lot in the City of Hamilton. Damage to one vehicle was detected at the time. Two suspects were arrested in connection with the incident; however both men were subsequently bailed pending further inquiries.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the City Hall parking lot between 6pm and 7pm on Tuesday, November 13th or anyone who may have discovered damage to their vehicle after parking at that location between 6pm and 7pm Tuesday to contact Sergeant Travel Brown or Sergeant Raoul Ming at the Hamilton Police Station on 295-0011.

Arrests on Suspicion of Impaired Driving

Around 3:10am on Friday, November 16th police officers on mobile patrol along Crow Lane in Pembroke observed a motorcycle being ridden erratically out of the City of Hamilton. They pursued the rider and stopped the motorcycle on Lane Hill near the junction with Cavendish Road as a result. The rider, a 42 year old Southampton man, appeared to be intoxicated and was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. He later failed the alco-analyser test and was detained. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.

Around 2:30am on Friday, November 16th police officers on mobile patrol in the City of Hamilton observed a motorcycle being ridden along Front Street in an erratic manner. The rider, a 35 year old Pembroke woman, was caused to stop as a result and appeared to be intoxicated. She was then arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and detained after failing the alco-analyser test. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.

Around 1:10am on Friday, November 16th police officers on mobile patrol along South Road in Southampton near the junction with Lighthouse Road observed a car being driven erratically through the area. The officers subsequently stopped the car and approached the driver, a 43 year old Warwick man, who appeared to be intoxicated. As a result the Warwick man was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and detained. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.
