Investigation Into Reported Assault - Police are investigating a report of assault that took place Saturday night at the World Ruby Classic (second game). As a result a man has been arrested in connection with an off ball assault that took place during the USA/South Africa match.

Police are appealing for witnesses, specifically anyone who may have video images of the assault, to contact Sergeant Derek Berry on 295-0011.

Two Injured in Motorcycle Collision

Around 2:15am on Monday, November 12th police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle motorcycle collision on South Road in Warwick near the junction with Camp Road. It appears that an 18 year old St. George’s woman and a 21 year old Southampton man were injured as a result; however their injuries are not believed to be serious. Inquiries are ongoing.

Update: Reported Serious Collision in Warwick

Inquiries are ongoing into the reported serious collision involving two motorcycles and an auxiliary cycle around 8:15pm Friday, November 9th along South Road in Warwick near Marley Beaches that injured four young men.

As a result, two of the young men were more seriously injured. The first, a 16 year old male, was initially treated in the Intensive Care Unit of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital prior to being flown overseas for further medical treatment. At last check the second, an 18 year old male, was recovering on a general ward. The other 16 year old male and 18 year old male involved were treated at the hospital for less serious injuries.

Police continue to appeal for anyone who may have seen this collision to contact PC Garwin Phillips on 295-0011.

Reported Stolen Vehicle Recovered

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating a white van reported stolen from outside a Harbour Road, Paget residence between 11:30pm on Monday, November 5th and 6am on Tuesday, November 6th. Police officers subsequently located the Toyota Hi-Ace van bearing license plate IN 2226 unoccupied on Lorraine Drive in Warwick around 12 noon on Saturday, November 10th.
