Advisory: Distributing Objectionable Images - The Bermuda Police Service would once again like to make the public aware that distributing objectionable images of persons via cell phone and or social media may result in the sender or the receiver being prosecuted. In particular, sending or possessing any child pornography or objectionable images of children is an offence punishable under the law. Anyone found with such images can expect to be arrested and brought before the courts.

Weekend Police Activity

Over the weekend, police officers arrested 5 people for outstanding warrants. Officers also arrested five people on suspicion of impaired driving and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.

Town Hall Meeting Postponed

The Commissioner's Town Hall Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, October 16th at 6:30pm in St. Paul’s Centennial Hall at the corner of Court Street & Victoria Street, Pembroke has been postponed until further notice. The public will be advised of a new date in due course.

The Bermuda Police Service will be hosting a press conference today at 1pm outside of the Mid-Atlantic Boat Club on North Shore Road in Devonshire, in relation to the murder of a 42 year old Southampton man. In the event of rain, the press conference will be held in the Community & Media Room at Hamilton Police Station. Your coverage is requested and appreciated.
