Reported Serious Collision in Devonshire - Around 12:45pm on Tuesday, October 9th police and first responders attended a reported serious two vehicle collision on North Shore Road in Devonshire near Barkers Hill. Details are unclear at this time; however it appears that a car and a motorcycle collided at that location.
The motorcycle rider, believed to be a 47 year old Hamilton parish man, was seriously injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check he was in the Intensive Care Unit. Traffic was temporarily diverted away from the scene; however that section of road has since reopened to normal traffic flow. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 295-0011.
