Update: Sudden Death - The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 36 year old Micah Hollis of Southampton. Around 6pm on Friday, October 5th police and first responders attended a reported medical emergency at a Homestead Lane, Southampton residence, where Mr. Hollis was found in an unresponsive state. CPR was performed on Mr. Hollis at the scene and continued as he was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance; however he was subsequently pronounced dead at 6:32pm by an on call doctor. There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances; however an autopsy is anticipated in due course. The Bermuda Police Service extends condolences to the family & friends of Mr. Hollis.

Weekend Police Activity

Over the weekend, police officers arrested 27 people for outstanding warrants. Officers also arrested seven people on suspicion of impaired driving and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
