Injury RTC

Around 11:40pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on The Causeway in St. George's reportedly involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling east on the Causeway when the rider, a 28 year old St. George's man, alleges he was struck from behind by a white Volkswagen car, causing him to lose control of the cycle. The car then drove off. The St. George's man sustained a broken right leg and abrasions to his hands and left arm as a result. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to contact PC Cassius Fevriere on 297-1122.
