Updated Traffic Advisory: Middle Road, Southampton
The motoring public is advised that trenching is continuing along Middle Road, Southampton in connection with Government’s road-widening project in the area near Waterlot Inn.
Other utilities have since taken the opportunity to participate in the project. As a result, road improvement work that was scheduled to conclude at the end of September will now continue until the end of October.
All road users should continue to adhere to the traffic lights in the area, which will remain in place. In addition, police officers will continue to direct traffic during ‘morning rush hours.’
Motorists are still encouraged to use caution when traveling through this area while the roadwork is ongoing, or consider taking an alternate route until the project is completed.
