Wed, 2006-07-12

At 3:30pm yesterday Police responded to a report of a burglary that took place on Long Lane Hill in Hamilton Parish. Upon Police arrival they spoke to the complainants who stated that after securing and locking their home in the morning, they returned at 3pm only to find their 52 inch Sony TV sitting in the driveway. It appears that someone gained entry to their property and stole a variety of items. Inquires into this incident are underway.

Theft

Meantime, at 1:38pm yesterday Police attended Horseshoe Bay on a report of a theft of a bag. The complainants (visitors to the island) had two red shoulder bags with black straps and buckles placed between what they thought was a safe spot on the beach. A female was seen in the area and left with the bags in her possession. The only description of the suspect given was a black female with a blue shirt. Stolen was a Minolta analog camera and articles of clothing. Inquires into this incident are also underway.
