Sixth Road Fatality for 2012

Police can now confirm the death of 58 year old Alexander Michael Doty of Indiana who died as a result of injuries received in a collision that took place at approximately 11:10pm on Wednesday in the area of Pitts Bay Road & Roxdene Lane in Pembroke.
It appears that Mr. Doty was walking along Pitts Bay Road when he was hit by a 27-year old man traveling on a motorcycle.
Police are asking for any witnesses to this collision, especially anyone who may have seen the victim (a white male balding, with light colored clothing approximately 5’8"-5’10" tall of solid/stocky build) walking along Pitts Bay Road between 10:45pm and 11:10pm, to please contact PC Walter Jackson of the Roads Policing Unit on 295-0011 or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.
