Burglary

At 12:45 this morning, Police attended a Warwickshire Road, Warwick residence on a report of a burglary. The complainant stated that she fell asleep in the living room only to be awoken by someone who had gained entry to her residence. The complainant screamed at the suspect to leave and the thief made good his escape. The suspect is described as 5’11" tall of slim build wearing a dark grey hooded jacket.

A host of personal effects have been recovered by the Somerset Criminal Investigation Unit and we would like the public to contact DC Donald at 234-1010 if they can assist in returning them to their rightful owners. The items are as follows:

  •  NIKON COOLPIX 8700 DIGITAL CAMERA (WITH VIVITAR AUTO THYRISTOR 225 FLASH ATTACHMENT IN GREY CARRY-CASE)

Road Traffic Collision

Police are appealing for witnesses to the fatal road traffic collision that took place last Thursday night which claimed the life of Travis Smith.  Witnesses are asked to contact PC Peterkin at 777-0999 or 299-4265.

Also a 47 year old man and a 16 year old girl are resting comfortably on a general ward after a serious road traffic collision that took place yesterday at 1:20pm on North Shore in Devonshire. Witnesses are asked to contact PC Ward on 295-0011.
