Update: Reported Serious Collision in Sandys Parish - Around 11:50pm on Monday, July 30th police and first responders attended a reported serious single vehicle collision on Pender Road in Sandys parish. It now appears that the rider of a rental cycle traveling along Pender Road collided with a section of the bridge at the entrance to Dockyard. As a result the rider, a 29 year old Hamilton parish man, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check the victim was in the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Te-Ara Douglas on 295-0011.
Update: Reported Serious Collision in Pembroke
The 7 year old Pembroke boy injured when the pedal cycle he was riding collided with a car along St. John’s Road in Pembroke near the junction with Langton Hill around 7:15pm on Sunday, July 29th remains in the Intensive Care Unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
