At 2:35pm on Saturday, July 14th the 10 strong police team reached the 750,000 metre mark, three quarters of the way to completing the Million Metre Row Challenge at Sandys
360 Sports, Aquatic & Enrichment Centre! The team, made up of Sergeant Derek Berry, Sergeant Kevin Christopher, Detective Constable Sylvester Augustine, Constable Cerepha Bridgeman, Constable Michael Charlton, Detective Constable Tim Harvey, Teena Tyrrell, Constable Latoyia Brunson, Station Duty Officer Vernagine Symonds and Constable Tiffani DeSilva having been rowing continuously since 3pm on Wednesday, July 11th 2012. Their goal is to row 1,000,000 metres (621.371 miles) to help raise funds for the Sandys 360 Youth Development Fund - and they are still anticipating a Sunday afternoon (July 15th 2012) finish.
