Update: Reported Serious Collision in Warwick - The 56 year old Sandys parish man injured in a reported serious single vehicle motorcycle collision on Middle Road in Warwick near the junction with Longford Road around 8:45pm on Wednesday, July 11th was at last check in the Intensive Care Unit in stable condition.

Inquiries are ongoing and any witnesses or anyone with any information regarding this collision is encouraged to contact PC Kevin Medeiros at the Somerset Police Station on 234-1010.

Motorcycle Theft Advisory

Recently there has been an increase in motorcycles being taken without their owner’s consent from various locations throughout the island. Members of the public are reminded to ensure that before leaving their motorcycle or auxiliary cycle unattended, it is secured with a good quality motorcycle lock, in addition to the handlebar lock.

When parking a motorcycle outside overnight, it should be appropriately secured and left in a well-lit and busy area if at all possible.

Suspicious activity or individuals near parked motorcycles or other vehicles should be reported to the main police number 295-0011 at the earliest opportunity.
