Collisions - Around 9:20pm on Monday June 25th, police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle collision along South Road in Devonshire. It appears that a motorcycle was travelling along South Road when it lost control and fell to the ground near the junction with Tee Street. The rider, a 32 year old Paget man was injured and conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 12 noon on Monday June 25th, police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle collision at an east end guest property. It appears that a golf cart was travelling on the property when it collided with a wall. The four occupants were injured and conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. Three of the victims were subsequently released. The fourth victim remains in hospital, receiving treatment for a leg injury. There were no other injuries reported; however the golf cart was damaged. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.
