Police Assist Stalled Driver - Around 4:15pm on Monday June 11th, police were on mobile patrol along South Road, Paget when they noticed a car that was stalled in the road near the junction with Inglewood Lane.
Officers stopped to check on the driver, a 60 year old Hamilton parish woman who told them that the car ran out of gas and stopped in the middle of the street.
As traffic was quickly building up, one of the officers transported the Hamilton parish woman to the nearest gas station, while a second officer stayed behind to manage the traffic. The first officer and the Hamilton parish woman soon returned and refueled the car. The 60 year old woman was then able to drive away from the scene, and the officers resumed patrol.
